Volunteer Opportunities

Early Intervention is a volunteer-led organisation which has been providing activity sessions for neurodivergent children and their families since February 2022.

Volunteering with us provides the opportunity to get involved with an organisation with plans to do great things to support neurodivergent children and their families. There is a great reward in participating and now is a great time to join us as we look to become a scottish registered charity.

Volunteer Committee Members

This opportunity would be attractive to someone with experience of committee work, or people, who want to gain experience in managing and developing an organisation. Over the next year we intend to make an application to become a registered Scottish Charity, and this will be a great opportunity to become familiar with this process. Although experience of committee work is desirable, full training will be offered to interested suitable candidates

Volunteer Fundraising

There are several ways to help Early Intervention in their efforts to raise funds and increase awareness, We are looking for somebody to come up with innovative fundraising ideas, which may involve planning/supervising events, sponsored activities and door-to-door collections of goods. You may also support us by promoting our content on your social media, sharing our details with friends and family members or by donating any unwanted toys or books that we could use during the children' sessions.

Volunteer Family Support

We are Looking for friendly volunteers to help us support families at sessions, no experience necessary but would especially love to hear from those with lived experience - neurodivergent adults and or people with a close connection to neurodiversity or ASN for example an autistic family member.

We also have Volunteer and paid opportunities for qualified Therapists, Including Speech and language, Art, Play and occupational therapists
